AGULU bag– Inspired by the shape of the traditional African Clay pot, the Agulu,. This bag reflects a deep cultural heritage. Agulu is a Luo word—Luo is my tribe and one of the largest tribes in Kenya—meaning clay pot, one of the most valued and widely used products in the African traditional clay industry. In many African homes, including mine, Agulu pots are essential for storing and cooling drinking water, cooking food, fetching water from the river, and preserving cereals. Not refilling the Agulu with drinking water was one of the biggest mistakes in my household growing up—my mother would never take it lightly! This bag’s unique shape mirrors the iconic pot, celebrating its timeless purpose in African life. A perfect blend of tradition and style, the Agulu Bag is both meaningful and functional.

Avoid submerging in water, in cases where necessary, Alizeti recommends that you hand wash or wash at maximum 30°C with a mild detergent to preserve the vibrant colours. Hang to dry- not suitable for the dryer.
